Council Splitting Maul - 6 lb - 36" Straight Handle

Council Tool Splitting Maul is a 6 lb, axe-eye style splitting maul with a 36 inch American hickory handle. Striking face is intended for driving steel wedges that are used in conjunction with splitting logs. Handle is hydraulically inserted into head and secured with a serrated aluminum wedge, providing a very secure mechanical bond. Head is forged tool steel with clear lacquer finish to deter rust. Made in USA.
