Peavey Mfg Shingle Froe - 15" Blade

Peavey Mfg Shingle Fro is a primary tool used in many woodworking projects which require riving. This Shingle Fro has a 2" x 15" blade and 18" maple handle. To use, simply pound the blade of the fro into the end of a log with a mallet or maul then use the long handle to "steer" and propel your cleft along the log. Then pull back on the handle to split off a slice of the wood with the grain.
