These one-hand pruning shears feature ergonomic hand and wrist protection and optimization of the force exerted is provided by the ideal shape of the handles. An angled cutting head reduces the risk of muscular-skeletal injuries and maximizes user comfort. The forged aluminum handles are lightweight, strong and sturdy due to special aluminum alloys and advanced precision forging methods. Blade and screw-mounted anvil blade is made of high-quality hardened steel. Felco 8 Pruning Shears feature a wire cutting notch for cutting small wires, a sap groove that prevents the blade from sticking when cutting "sappy" wood, and a micrometric adjustment system and shock absorption system. The ergonomic models offer cutting heads and ergonomics suited to every user, and/or users with large, medium or small hands. All parts can be replaced. Made in Switzerland.
