Ochsenkopf OX E-94 H-0700 Spare Handles are constructed from high-grade, extremely break-proof Hickory wood which has the 3-4 times the physical loading of Ash. The long fiber structure increases safety in handle breakage. The long fibers hold the wood together, avoiding uncontrolled release of the broken-off handle and the axe/hatchet head.
